Bruce Rutter is highly experienced as both performer and teacher. His violin studies began in New York and the Royal Conservatory in Toronto. He completed a MusBac at McMaster University and continued advanced studies at Queen’s University and University of Michigan. He has performed as a member of the many professional ensembles in both Canada and the US and is a frequent chamber and solo performer. He has taught at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto, St. Clair College, Windsor Centre for the Creative Arts and since 1984 has been on faculty at Académie Ste-Cécile. Bruce works with all ages and levels in both traditional and Suzuki methods of teaching and has extensive experience working with orchestral and string ensembles.
