Retired from her position as Manager of Geomatics in the Engineering Department at the City of Windsor, Marian Drouillard is also an Alcohol Ink Artist.
Her original field of study was a 3 year Honours program in Graphic Design at St Lawrence College in the mid 70’s, followed later by an Honours Urban Geography program at the University of Windsor in the early to mid 90’s, and several certificate programs at St Clair College, including Multi Media, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Digital Photography in the 2000’s. Marian designed, developed and taught a Post Graduate Municipal GIS Certificate program at St Clair College in the mid 2000’s, and in the mid 2010’s, earned a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership.
For 12 years, she has managed a successful Annual Terry Fox Giant Used Book Sale which to date has raised almost $175,000 where donated books are only $1. Her other volunteer roles include a media and promotions committee member for the Tecumseh Terry Fox Run, Chair of the Tecumseh Heritage Advisory Committee and Co-Chair of the Tecumseh Arts & Cultural Advisory Committee.
Marian brings organizational, managerial, supervisory, and analytical skills to the Alliance, as well as creative, technical and promotional skills to the mix.
